Angel Falls, Salto Angel (Spanish), named Churún Merú or Kerepakupai-merú by local Indian, which means "Devil's canyon", is the world's highest free-leaping waterfall at 979 meters (3,212 ft) with an uninterrupted drop of 807 meters (2,648 feet). It is located on the Auyan Tepui, in the Canaima National Park, Venezuela.
